Health
Health = Vitality + Energy
My search for optimal health
Health for me means having all the energy I need to do the thing that matter the most even after a long day of working, having the vitality to overcome any challenge.
Health = energy and vitality

Are you a negative or a positive parent?
If I asked you, are you a negative or a positive person? What would you answer? Be honest with yourself. I know that being negative is easy sometimes, but is it really serving you? A positive mind set has so much more to offer.
Are you drained as a parent?!
Having kids disrupts your old routines, your old habits. Things you might have done for years and years now feel like dragging you down, are not motivating you anymore. The interrupted nights early mornings and constant demand for attention, don’t help in this area as well. Sound familiar?
Parenting tiresome and mood killing?!
Being a parent is not easy, late night, long days, working, interruptions in the night. To start early in the morning again. Where do you find the energy? How do you make sure you don’t get grumpy, frustrated, or act out on others? I went on a search and discovered something interesting.
Fueling your energy levels.
Food is not energy but is your fuel. What you eat, think, do fuels your energy levels. So how continues are you with fueling your energy levels.
The power of the morning.
How is your morning ritual? Do you wake up and start with deadlines? I need to eat, get the kids out of bed leave on time? That can be pretty stressful and unpleasant, starting your morning in a rush. I know you get in the habit, but with children these kinds of habits tend to become a struggle.
Super energetic & happy dad.
How is your life going, are you enjoying yourself? Or are you feeling that you are missing out?
Did you ever count down the minutes before it was bedtime? I remember the time before kids and uninterrupted nights. I noticed that I had to change things to become the dad I wanted to be. What I have learned I want to share with you.
Nurture the mind.
During hectic days I sometimes forget to take a little break and just go and go and go. The result is that at the end of the day I am tired and drained from energy. This made me wonder is there a way to avoid this energy drain?
3 levels of energy
Ever had a day that you thought I am so tired, and you went to the gym or started an exercise and afterwards you felt full of energy?
You experienced an emotional and or mental energy drain, your physical body still had all the energy it needed to get you going, but you emotional or mental energy was drained for that day. You needed a reset or recharge to get you going again.
Journey to a healthy diet.
My journey started with a 10-day challenge to eat vegan whole foods. I decided to accept this challenge and cut out all animal products, stop eating over processed foods, eliminate as many toxins as possible and eat as much fresh products as possible. To be honest the first 3 days where horrible, my stomach was clearly not happy with my decision to start eating “healthier”. The rest of my body did not seem to mind my recent change. Even stopping with consuming caffeine went without any real trouble.
Health a search for a holistic approach.
My biggest question of reasoned years is how do I live a healthy life, where I have all the energy I need to keep up with my kids. Actually, where my kids need to keep up with me. My parents thought what they have learned and what was influenced by there parents, which is understandable. What I had learned from my parents was sadly not enough to delivering the live and energy levels I wanted in my life. So, I started doing some research, accepted a challenge and just started trying out things that might help in my journey to finding a healthy life, where I am not limited by my energy, disease or disabilities.
What are you waiting for?
